Tax Audits
We will represent you before the Internal Revenue Service when you are notified of a tax audit, whether or not we prepared your tax return. In most cases you will never meet or talk to the IRS employee assigned to your case. We will work with the IRS to determine the appropriate tax liability given the applicable law and your tax facts. Our attitude and objective is to minimize any tax increase, and in many cases get a refund.

Disputes and Collections
We will represent you before the Internal Revenue Service when the government is trying to collect tax. We will analyze the IRS position to see if it is reasonable and appropriate. We will look at your IRS account, relevant income tax returns and assessed penalties and interest to confirm the liability. We will negotiate reductions in penalties where possible and arrange payment plans for you to pay your liability. In some cases we will try to get the government to compromise and accept an amount less than the amount you owe.

Non-filed Income Tax Returns
Sometimes, people don't file their income tax returns. There are usually extenuating circumstances, but it might just be procrastination. Seldom have we seen non-filers failing to file their returns get out of paying their tax (it doesn't work).

We will prepare your past tax returns so that once you file them, you will be current. We will communicate with the IRS and try to postpone any action they may be planning. We will negotiate a possible penalty abatement with the government and help you with a plan to pay your tax.

If you have received a notice regarding your non-filed taxes, you should file your returns as soon as you can. If you have not received a notice, it's even more important for you to prepare and file your delinquent tax returns right away.
